Vinified apart since 1989, this cuvee comes from our eldest cabernet franc vineyard : planted 1943, its old vines deserve some kind of a  respect! Still in good shape, they keep giving you,  year after year, a great Saumur Champigny which have his own fan club! The aromatic finesse of the old cabernet franc and its serious structure has proved many times its ability for long keeping : in 2010 ther has been a lucky few who enjoyed the Fevettes 1990...

The alliance between cabernet franc, the limestone underground named « tuffeau » and the microclimate of Saumur brings the Saumur Champigny appellation to the first place among the redwines from the Loire, welknown for their freshness and elegance.
